Palmdale dentist Dr. Neal Green, DDS, was awarded a certificate of special congressional recognition from Congressman Mike Garcia (R-Santa Clarita) on Monday.
Garcia awarded Green the certificate at the Green’s office for being in business in Santa Clarita for 39 years.
“As a child, Dr. Green had a fear of the dentist and disliked even simple checkups and cleanings,” read a statement on Green’s website. “Today, he is sensitive to the needs of his patients who have anxiety about getting a checkup or undergoing dental work.”
Green graduated from the University of Southern California Dental school, according to his website. He began practicing dentistry in 1983.
