On August 6th, the Santa Clarita Coalition, Dr. Neal C. Green and Healing California partnered up at Wiley Elementary School to provide free dental and vision care for the public, helping many local families.
Stations for eye exams, glasses fittings, teeth cleanings and fillings by Dr. Green were set up throughout the elementary school’s front office and auditorium.
“We’re starting off the school year in-person so of course it’s so important for our kids to be able to see and to have their dental check,” said Newhall School District Superintendent Dr. Leticia Hernandez. “As educators, this makes a world of difference.”
Free of charge, and no questions asked, kids and adults alike were able to receive a variety of services through the clinic. This included teeth cleaning or being fitted for glasses that they received that same day.
